Windows 10 Using 100% Disk Usage

Feb 6th, 2018 | By | Category: Random Musings

I’m writing this assuming that you’ve gone through all of the basic stuff, you’ve disabled Super Fetch, Windows Search, etc etc.  Because I did all of that with absolutely no avail.  I’m using a Mechanical Hybrid Drive so there might be a chance that the hybrid drive is constantly writing to it’s SSD buffer but I don’t know.  Anyways, here are some more advanced solutions to try

  1. Go to: “C:\Windows\System32\SleepStudy”.
  2. Click the right mouse button on file: “UserNotPresentSession.etl” and then “Properties” from the list.
  3. Check “Read-only” checkbox and save changes.
  4. IMPORTANT: Restart your computer.
