When the threat of the pine beetle makes it into the NY times you know that it has moved beyond our backyard. I sometimes wonder which one of these disasters will be the one that breaks the camels back and sends us back into the dark ages? Economic Meltdown coupled with Global Warming, coupled with running out of oil, coupled with Flooding and rising sea levels, coupled with pine beetles, coupled with a lack of drinking water, coupled with war, coupled with increased hurricanes and other natural disasters…… and the list goes on
